Reasons I Love Lush - Lush Haul

It's no secret I am a total Lush addict. When I open a new tab on Google Chrome, the Lush website is there as one of my most visited websites! I might just be a little bit too addicted.
I thought it would be fun to share with you what I recently picked up from Lush.

I live about thirty minutes away from a Lush store, but it's in the middle of the city and I don't go down there too often, so when I think it's about time to buy some new Lush goodies, I usually order online. I hate that shipping is $10 when buying online, but I've always felt it's more excited choosing my goodies online and then receiving them in a big box like it's Christmas.

So, what did I pick up this time?
I finally tried the twilight bath bomb for the first time the other week and I LOVED it. It smells magical, leaves the water a beautiful pinky purple colour and makes my skin super soft. Since I loved it so much, I picked up two of those.
I also picked up two butterball baths bombs because I also love those. They are great by themselves, or in conjunction with another bath bomb or bubble bar.
I decided it's about time I try the ultraviolet bubble bar, as I've heard so many great things about it and I don't want it to go out of stock before I get a chance to buy it.
I haven't yet tried any of the fun products. I'm not 100% on how you use those, but sitting in the bath making shapes and characters out of sweet smelling soap is something I'm definitely all for.
Last but not least, I picked up the beautiful smelling sweetie pie shower jelly. I regret not buying this until now. As soon as I opened the pot, the amazing strong sweet smell of the comforter bubble bar filled my room. I had no idea it smelled like the comforter, and I LOVE the comforter. The shower jelly is also the most lovely deep purple colour, and it's extremely sparkly.

I am obsessed with bath and skin care products, and Lush is my favourite store to pick up amazing products from. It's cruelty free, handmade, and every product smells amazing and totally agrees with my sensitive skin. What more could I want?

What's your favourite Lush product? xx

Scented Candle Obsessed

Ok, so it's no lie that I'm scented candle crazy. I find myself buying a new candle all the time- not even thinking about it! I currently at the moment, have a total of 13 scented candles. These are all ranging from Yankee Candles, to Glasshouse, to Woodwick. Some of them aren't the big names though, I also enjoy some local, handmade candles once in a while. My favourite scents are food or sweet scents.

What about you, are you candle crazy like I am? Or have another crazy or not so crazy obsession, that you find yourself buying monthly, if not weekly? x

Lush Mother's Day limited edition Yummy Mummy shower gel

On a whim, I picked up the 250g Yummy Mummy shower gel from Lush online because I heard good things about it, and let's face it, the lilac colour is just amazing.

The first time I smelled it I thought it was a nice scent, but I wasn't crazy for it. Little did I know, the more I used it, the more the smell would grow on me and now I am obsessed with it. I can describe it as smelling so fresh and floral, with a hint of strawberry and caramel. The smell is so strong and lingers on my skin. Not only is the smell amazing, but it makes my skin so soft.

Everything about this product is amazing, apart from it being limited edition. I just had to pick up the biggest bottle. I'm going to be so sad after I empty these two bottles, but I'm sure it will take me a while to do so.

Do you like the Yummy Mummy shower gel? What are your favourite Lush limited editions? x

theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer & Bahama Mama

I managed to get my hands on these little pretties recently. I've been on the search for a good highlighter, as none really seem to work well for me. I always find highlights do almost nothing for me, and I gave up on them until I found theBalm's Mary-Lou Manizer highlighter. Using the Real Techniques setting brush, I can highlight my cheekbones, nose, chin, and centre of forehead perfectly. This highlighter is so pretty, I have no regrets buying it.

Bahama Mama is perfect to contour with, and for giving your face that sun-kissed look. I love this product much the same.

I am so happy I picked these up. Honestly, it was the amazing packaging that lured me in, but fortunately they turned out to be fantastic products!

Have you tried these or any of theBalm's products? x

April Bellabox Review

I have been getting the Australian Bellabox since November or December. Some months are better than others, but not once have I been disappointed. I read bad comments and reviews on Bellabox all the time, but I just think those people have too high expectations. I love receiving a surprise beauty box each month, it's always something exciting to look forward to.

Yes To Carrots C Me Shine Lip Gloss
I'm not a fan of the smell of this or the applicator and I haven't used it so I might give it to a friend.

Marc Daniels Blue Cypress Blonde Smooth Ends Treatment
This stuff smells so nice! This immediately made me want to use this as soon as possible. It is very conditioning, and made my hair really soft when it was dry. It tones my hair slightly (not so much that's it's incredibly noticeable- which I like because I didn't want my hair colour to change). This product does everything it claims, and I think $12.99 is very affordable, especially for the amount you get.

Nivea Lip Butter - Caramel Cream
I've honestly wanted to buy this forever, but every time I see it I just glance at it and then walk past. Don't ask me why.. but I am so glad I received it in my box. It's caramel scented- although to me it smells like buttered popcorn (which is amazing) and it is extremely moisturising and lasts on the lips for a while before having to reapply. I definitely will be repurchasing this one and the other scents. I'm not sure how I feel about the packaging though, I much prefer lip balms in tubes over this tin and getting the product all over my fingers.

Pure Therapy Gentle Soap Free Body Cleanser
The smell is too overly 'fresh/clean' scented, but I don't mind too much. This is a good shower gel if you just want a shower gel for it's main purpose of cleansing your skin. If you want something that smells good then search elsewhere.

Joico Colour Endure Violet Shampoo & Conditioner
Honestly this product really did nothing for me- I used it once and then threw out the packets.

Nourish Anti Itch Lotion
Yet to use.

Overall, I liked this months box but it wasn't one of the best ones I've received. I am so happy with the lip butter and the hair treatment so I'm happy.

Do you get a monthly Bellabox? What do you think of it? x

Mac lipsticks - patisserie and creme cup

I spent so long reading various beauty blogs and reviews on the best pale pink, nudes, or 'your lips but better' Mac lipsticks. I haven't always been a big nude or pale pink lipstick wearer, but recently I have just felt like leaning more towards those colours, and less towards reds and darker or brighter pinks.

I picked up both creme cup and patisserie. When opening these up, I really liked the look of both of these but I thought I would like patisserie more (lustre - sheer creamy neutral pink). It's very soft and moisturising on the lips, but isn't very long wearing (which I don't really mind.. for such a light colour at least).
Patisserie is a really nice nude colour, with a slight pink sheen to it. But I am loving creme cup (cremesheen - light blue pink) the best out of these two. This colour is slightly more pale and more pink than my lip colour, and is more long wearing.

Do you own either of these lipsticks? What are your opinions on these? x
